What is the CONT.AIR particle counter used for?

It detects, counts and sizes airborne aerosol particles from 0.3 to 25 µm for cleanroom monitoring, indoor air quality, health & safety and research applications.

What is the difference between a particle counter and a microbial air sampler?

A microbial air sampler gives the number and type of micro-organisms captured on an agar plate; a particle counter gives the number and size of non-viable airborne particles, which can act as transport agents for viable ones.

Which standards and reports does the CONT.AIR support?

It generates reports according to ISO 14644-1, EU GMP Annex 1 and FS 209E, and complies with ISO 21501-4 and JIS B9921.

How long does the battery last?

Over 10 hours of continuous sampling on a single charge; the removable Li-ion battery recharges in 4 hours, or under 2 hours with the external charger.
